Letter: Four years is enough

Published: April 18, 2012, 5:00pm

Unbeknownst to President Obama, his exchange with Russian President Dmitri Medvedev was caught on tape, revealing that he only needs to get through his “last election” before having the freedom to implement his real agenda.

Obama said, “On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it’s important for him to give me space.” And a further reply from Obama, “This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.” (Source: ABC News.)

Just imagine what Obama, the most radical left-wing president in our nation’s history, will be able to do — especially in regard to dangerous missile defense treaties — when he’s no longer concerned about being re-elected.

Consider the fearsome powers of executive orders, or his powers after declaring martial law, and that provision in the Defense Appropriations Act authorizing warrantless, indefinite, detentions of American citizens described by the president’s administration as “belligerents.”

Heaven help us.
