PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State Police say they’ve closed Interstate 84 near The Dalles while they negotiate with a driver who refused to get out of his car after a chase.

The police said they spotted a vehicle wanted in an investigation and tried to pull it over Thursday morning.

The police said the car took an exit and then stopped, but the driver hasn’t cooperated with officers.

A SWAT team was reported on its way.
