Police responding to burglary, theft at Mongolian Grill

Police are responding to a burglary and theft at a Vancouver restaurant on Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard near Interstate 205.

The incident happened around 3 p.m. at the Mongolian Grill at 316 S.E. 123rd Ave.

A male subject entered through a back door of the restaurant and took of an unknown amount of cash, said Kim Kapp, police spokeswoman.

There was no weapon seen or implied.

The man left the restaurant and got into a taxi that is apparently heading towards Portland, Kapp said.

Portland police have been alerted.

The car possibly already crossed over the Glenn Jackson Bridge.

Vancouver police are continuing the investigation at the restaurant.
