PHOENIX (AP) — The Arizona Diamondbacks, already troubled by injuries, have placed right-hander Daniel Hudson on the 15-day disabled list with a right shoulder impingement.

Hudson, the No. 2 starter behind Ian Kennedy, was 1-1 with a 6.00 ERA in three starts. He allowed two runs and six hits in 7 2-3 innings against Pittsburgh on Wednesday.

Arizona recalled right-hander Jonathan Albaledejo from Triple-A Reno to take Hudson’s roster spot. Albaledejo was 1-1 with a 2.35 ERA in eight relief appearances for Reno.

Hudson joins center fielder Chris Young and backup third baseman on the disabled list for Arizona. The team has also been without right fielder Justin Upton because of a sore thumb.
