LAS VEGAS (AP) — Jason Burke is a physician with a mission.
The board-certified anesthesiologist is rolling out a bus aimed at reviving Las Vegas Strip revelers who’ve got a lot of drinking to do and a short time to do it.
He calls the business Hangover Heaven.
Burke’s medically-equipped bus picks up hotel guests for intravenous fluid treatment designed to cure hangovers from the night before.
An I.V. of saline solution, B and C vitamins — plus mild prescription anti-inflammatory and nausea medications — costs $90.
A premium package costs $150.
Burke says his medical practice on wheels brings relief to tourists with stomach-churning wooziness and headaches that could otherwise ruin their Sin City vacation.
He insists he’s not promoting drinking — just decreasing the length of time people are hung over.
