PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Fire officials in Tigard, Ore., say a 2-year-old girl was taken to a local hospital after falling out of a second-story window.
According to the Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue, firefighters found the girl conscious at her Tigard home Saturday evening. She was taken to local hospital.
Officials are urging the public to put child safety locks on windows. They say the arrival of warm weather brings new hazards for young children, including falls from windows.
