Celebration to honor Carol Buck’s career is Friday

Longtime CPD detective set to retire

A retirement party for Camas Police Department Det. Carol Buck will be held Friday, from 3 to 5 p.m., at the Camas police station community room, 2100 N.E. Third Ave. Cake and punch will be served.

Buck spent 22 years working for the Camas department, where she helped investigate crimes including child abuse and domestic violence. During her career, she also worked for the Washougal Police Department.
