Kalama man accused of extorting parents

KALAMA, Wash. (AP) — Police say a 41-year-old Kalama man threatened to burn his parents’ boat if they didn’t give him more money.

Police arrested the man Monday evening on suspicion of extortion.

The Daily News reports (http://is.gd/UlYbqP) the man lives aboard his parents’ boat at Kalama’s Columbia River marina.
