PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (AP) — Sperry Top-Sider has signed a four-year deal as title sponsor of the U.S. Sailing Team, a span that will include two Olympics.
The deal, announced Tuesday, runs through Dec. 31, 2016.
Sperry will also continue its role as footwear sponsor for the team.
In addition to the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic sailing teams, Sperry’s sponsorship also includes the U.S. Sailing Development Team, a group of approximately 50 promising younger sailors.
