Local lilac grower featured in new book

Woodland — Author Jane Kirkpatrick celebrated the release of her new historical fiction novel about lilac hybridizer Hulda Klager, “Where Lilacs Still Bloom,” on April 20 at the Woodland Grange. Kirkpatrick’s presentation about Klager filled both morning and afternoon sessions, which included a tour of Klager’s historic home and gardens.
