LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) — Restricted free-agent running back Kahlil Bell has signed his one-year tender offer from the Chicago Bears.
Bell ran for 337 yards and averaged 4.3 per carry in his third season in the league. He rushed for 240 yards over the final three weeks but committed three fumbles over the last two games, including two in a loss to Green Bay.
Bell is expected to be the third running back behind Matt Forte and the recently acquired Michael Bush.
The Bears announced the signing on Wednesday.
