What’s happening in Clark College athletics:

BASEBALL

Results — Clark (19-11 overall) dropped 3 of 4 games to Green River over the weekend. Clark opened Saturday with a 4-3 win at home, then lost 2-1. At Auburn on Sunday, Clark fell 3-2 in 11 innings and 5-3.

Upcoming games — Clark has a bye in the NWAACC West Division this weekend. The Penguins are scheduled to host the Linfield JV in at doubleheader, 1 p.m. Saturday at Kindsfather Field.

SOFTBALL

Results — Clark (9-13) went 4-0 at the Yakima Valley Crossover on Saturday and Sunday. The Penguins posted wins over Skagit Valley, 11-0; Big Bend, 6-3; Pierce, 5-3; and Yakima Valley, 6-4. In NWAACC South Division play, Clark was swept by Lower Columbia on Tuesday, 7-6 and 10-2.

Upcoming games — Clark is scheduled to visit Mt. Hood in Gresham, Ore., at noon Saturday, and visit Southwestern Oregon in Coos Bay, Ore., on Tuesday.

TRACK AND FIELD

Upcoming — Clark is among the teams listed to compete at the Pacific Twilight Invitational in Forest Grove, Ore. The two-day meet begins at 4 p.m. Friday, and at 10 a.m. Saturday.
