Light rail train derails on gravel in Tacoma

TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — Sound Transit says there were no injuries and no damage when a light rail train derailed Wednesday night in Tacoma.

The train derailed on gravel that washed over the track due to heavy rain. The gravel came from a construction project.

Passengers were picked up by a bus.
