CINCINNATI (AP) — The Bengals got another receiver with their second pick in the fifth round, taking Marvin Jones from California.
One of their priorities in the draft was to upgrade a group of receivers that lost Jerome Simpson and Andre Caldwell to free agency. Jones will add depth to the group. He had 62 catches for 846 yards and three touchdowns last season.
The Bengals took receiver Mohamed Sanu from Rutgers in the third round on Friday night, looking for someone who can complement Pro Bowl receiver A.J. Green.
Cincinnati had three picks in the fifth round on Saturday. The Bengals took cornerback Shaun Prater from Iowa with their first choice in the round.
