YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — A landslide has closed Highway 410 east of Mount Rainier.

Yakima County Emergency Management Director Jim Hall says the slide Friday morning covered about 60 feet of road with mud, rocks and trees.

The Yakima Herald-Republic reports (http://is.gd/IYo659 ) the slide is smaller than a 2009 slide that blocked the highway and redirected the Naches River.
