RENTON, Wash. (AP) — The Seattle Seahawks have added depth to the secondary, picking Kentucky safety Winston Guy with their second sixth-round pick in Saturday’s NFL draft.

Guy was selected with the 181st overall pick and he is the sixth defensive selection made by Seattle. He was a second-team all-Southeastern Conference selection after recording 120 tackles his senior season for the Wildcats, the second-most of any player in the conference. Guy played in 51 career games for the Wildcats and had two interceptions as a senior.

Again, versatility was part of why Seattle was interested. Guy started his career at Kentucky as a cornerback, then moved to safety and finished off his career playing a hybrid safety/linebacker position. His strength is helping in run support, but he might struggle in pass coverage.
