ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — The Detroit Lions have selected Oklahoma linebacker Travis Lewis in the seventh round of the NFL draft.

Detroit drafted him No. 223 overall Saturday.

Lewis, who is from San Antonio, was the third former Sooners standout drafted by Detroit.

The Lions took wide receiver Ryan Broyles in the second round and Ronnell Lewis, who can play defensive end or outside linebacker, in the fourth round.

Lewis became the first player in Oklahoma history to lead, or share the team lead, in tackles four years in a row. He had four interceptions as a freshman and finished with nine.
