LONDON (AP) — Almost 1.5 million tickets for the soccer tournament at the London Olympics will go on sale Monday.

Organizers say the sale of 1.4 million tickets, which was originally scheduled for mid-April but delayed because of technical problems, will begin at 11 a.m. local time and last until May 6.

Another 1 million tickets will go on sale in mid-May.

The only matches for which tickets will not be on offer Monday are the men’s matches between Britain and Uruguay, the men’s quarterfinal and semifinal, and both finals.

The online ticketing system can sell as many as 250,000 tickets an hour, but only 10,000 tickets have been sold for the first event of the Games, the women’s match between Britain and New Zealand at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium on July 25.
