RENTON, Wash. (AP) — Going back to the defensive side, the Seattle Seahawks selected Florida defensive tackle Jaye Howard with their second pick in the fourth-round of the NFL draft on Saturday.

Howard was taken with the 114th overall selection. He started 25 of 45 career games and had 10 tackles for loss and 512 sacks his senior season at Florida.

The 6-foot-3, 301-pound Howard played multiple positions along the defensive line for the Gators and that versatility was likely attractive to the Seahawks. He’s the third defensive selection by the Seahawks, who used their first-round pick addressing their pass rush with the selection of Bruce Irvin, then came back with linebacker Bobby Wagner in the second round.
