INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — NCAA tournament darling Butler could be changing conferences.

The two-time national runner-up and perennial Horizon League contender is reportedly looking into a move to the Atlantic 10.

Bulldogs coaches met Monday with athletic director Barry Collier, though Collier declined to comment on what was discussed. The Indianapolis Star has reported that university President James Danko sent a letter to trustees noting that the school has been conducting a cost-benefit analysis over a potential move.

Switching leagues would reunite Butler with some old rivals from its Midwestern Collegiate Conference days including Dayton, Duquesne, Saint Louis and Xavier.
