FARGO, N.D. (AP) — The starting running back for North Dakota State wants jury trials on two charges of driving with a suspended license.
The Forum newspaper reports (http://bit.ly/QzK9mY ) that Sam Ojuri was stopped by police on June 5 and July 14. Both of the charges against him are misdemeanors punishable by up to 30 days in jail and a $1,000 fine.
Ojuri, a junior from Barrington, Ill., pleaded guilty in January to an alcohol offense and was fined $100. He was suspended from the team in spring 2010 for an undisclosed violation of team rules and reinstated in January 2011.
