Sampling information from the popular Buoy 10 salmon season at the mouth of the Columbia River is available online from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Through Sept. 3, the daily bag limit is two salmon or hatchery steelhead or one of each. Only one fish may be a chinook. Only hatchery coho may be kept.
The minimum sizes are 16 inches for coho and 24 inches for chinook.
Beginning Sept. 4, only hatchery coho and hatchery steelhead may be retained.
Washington and Oregon expect a catch of about 13,900 chinook and 8,000 coho.
