LONDON (AP) — Oh Jin-hyek of South Korea won the gold medal in men’s individual archery on Friday, topping Takaharu Furukawa of Japan in a one-sided final.

Oh won the gold matchup, 7-1. Dai Xiaoxiang of China won the bronze medal, beating Rick van der Ven of the Netherlands 10-8 in a shoot-off tiebreaker.

No. 1 Brady Ellison of the United States was ousted earlier this week in the early rounds. Second-seeded Im Dong-hyun of South Korea was eliminated Friday before the quarterfinals.

Im had been described as legally blind in published reports for several years, though suggested in London that those reports were overstated.
