BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — LSU has shaken up its usual routine and coach Les Miles will meet with the media before practice instead of after on Friday.

The Tigers opened preseason camp last week and will enter this season as one of the favorites to win the national championship.

Led by Heisman Trophy finalist Tyrann Mathieu, the Tigers went 13-1 last season, losing only in the BCS title game to Southeastern Conference rival Alabama.

LSU enters this season ranked No. 1 in the coaches’ poll. The AP college football poll will be released Aug. 18.
