ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks has been taken off the physically unable to perform list by the New York Giants and is eligible to start practicing with the Super Bowl champions.

The Giants announced the move after practice on Monday after Nicks passed his physical. He will be limited for his first three workouts.

Nicks missed the first two weeks of training camp at the University at Albany while completing rehabilitation on a broken right foot that he hurt in May at an organized team activity.

The Giants will have their final training camp practice on Tuesday. The players have off Wednesday and then practice will be held Thursday at the team’s headquarters in East Rutherford, N.J. They face the Jets in a preseason game on Saturday.
