Dumais leads men’s 3-meter semis

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — Justin Dumais and Amy Cozad led their divisions Wednesday after the semifinal rounds in the U.S. national diving championships.

Dumais, from Orlando, Fla., had 436.20 points in the men’s 3-meter springboard semifinals to lead the qualifiers for the 12-man finals. Bradley Christensen of Southlake, Texas, followed at 423.75, and Greg Ferrucci of Huntersville, N.C., was third at 423.15.

Dumais’ younger brother, Olympic bronze medalist Troy Dumais, earned a bye into the finals by qualifying for the London Olympics.

Cozad, from Bloomington, Ind., 338.40 points in the women’s 10-meter platform semifinals. Cheyenne Cousineau of Temperance, Mich., was second at 336.70, and Eszter Pryor of New Albany, Ohio, third at 330.15.
