MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Seimone Augustus scored 20 points and Maya Moore and Monica Wright added 17 each as the Minnesota Lynx returned from the Olympic break with a 98-69 victory over the Washington Mystics on Friday.

Rebekkah Brunson had 11 points and Lindsay Whalen added 10 points and nine assists to give the defending champion Lynx (16-4) their third straight win since a three-game losing streak.

Monique Currie, Lindsay Wisdom-Hylton and Crystal Langhorne each scored 12 points for the Eastern Conference-worst Mystics (4-16), who followed up an 18-point loss at Indiana on Thursday with their second-biggest defeat of the season.

Augustus scored all her points in just 21 minutes, leaving the game for good with 4:45 left in the third quarter after suffering a sprained right ankle. The Lynx led by at least 24 points the rest of the contest.
