KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Chicago White Sox slugger Adam Dunn hit his 400th career homer in the eighth inning against the Kansas City Royals.
Dunn, who leads the majors with 35 homers, hit a 2-2 pitch out to left-center against Tim Collins on Saturday night.
Dunn and Paul Konerko are the first teammates to reach 400 career homers in the same season.
Dunn is one of 11 active players with at least 400 homers. He is the 50th player to reach the number.
