MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Milwaukee Brewers have released veteran left-hander Randy Wolf.

Wolf was 3-10 with a 5.69 ERA in 24 starts for Milwaukee this season. He has lost his last four decisions.

His release will make room in the rotation for starter Shaun Marcum, who is expected to return soon from a rehabilitation assignment. Marcum has been on the disabled list since June 23 with a right elbow injury.

The Brewers have recalled infielder Jeff Bianchi from Triple-A Nashville.
