Meadow Homes — Telecommunications company CenturyLink has shared some of the proceeds of its late June food drive, which spanned approximately 650 locations across the country.

On Aug. 14, company representatives presented a check for $81,454 to Share, a local agency that offers hot meal programs, homeless shelters and other help for the needy in Clark County.

The money is intended for Share’s weekend backpack program, which sends approximately 1,300 weekend food packs home with students at 66 local schools.
