INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Andrew Luck has been praised for demonstrating the poise and command of a veteran quarterback in the Colts’ first two preseason games.

Last weekend, he also demonstrated he’s still a rookie.

After throwing two touchdowns at Pittsburgh, the No. 1 overall draft pick heads into Saturday’s preseason matchup against the No. 2 overall draft pick, Robert Griffin III, with another goal: Eliminating mistakes.

Indy’s new franchise quarterback insists he can — and must — continue improving before the Sept. 9 season-opener at Chicago.
