SEATTLE — Vancouver-based Holland Partner Group has broken ground on a 40-story apartment tower in downtown Seattle near the city’s retail district, convention center and Paramount Theater.

Holland Partner Group (not affiliated with Holland Inc., owner of the Burgerville chain) calls the project 815 Pine for its address on the Pine- and Pike-street corridor. The tower will include 325 apartment units, as well as 276 parking spaces in three underground floors and the first three above-ground floors.

A 4,200-square-foot ground-floor restaurant will cater to the theater crowd passing the corner of ninth and Pine. Residents will have a swimming pool and outdoor garden space in a rooftop club. The sixth floor will contain a resident theater and fitness center.
