Concordia student hosts health fair

A Concordia University student and Clark County resident is hosting a health and fitness awareness day this month at the Portland school.

The event is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 22 at Concordia University on the Campus Green (grassy area near the library), 2811 N.E. Holman St.

The event will include booths featuring New Seasons Market and area health practitioners, including personal trainers, massage therapists, wellness coaches, nutritionists and CrossFit instructors and others.

The day will also include fitness testing activities, nutritious food demonstrations, measurements and evaluations, health snacks, sample circuit class, exercise plans and kids activities.

Olivia Fisher, a exercise and sport science major at Concordia, is hosting the event.
