Ridgefield school building contractor announced

The Ridgefield School District on Monday announced the contractor for upcoming construction projects at the South Ridge and Union Ridge elementary schools, and View Ridge Middle School.

Tripplet Wellman Construction of Woodburn, Ore. will be general contractor/construction manager overseeing the projects.

The district’s construction committee looked at four companies in the final round: Skanska USA, Todd Construction, Walsh Construction and Tripplet Wellman Construction.

Tripplet Wellman Construction will begin working with the district immediately on pre-project duties.
