PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) — A computer glitch at Washington State University has left thousands of students waiting for financial aid payments.

WSU says the glitch has been fixed, but it may take until mid-October to catch up with the backlog.

In the meantime, KHQ reports, WSU is waiving late fees on tuition and loaning some students money to help pay for housing and books.
