Meadow Homes — The third and final phase of construction of the Share Fromhold Service Center at 2306 N.E. Andresen Road is a go. Share’s board of directors voted to proceed with the remodel of the former Timber Lanes bowling alley — despite $150,000 in fundraising toward the $5.4 million project left to go. Finishing the job this fall means new Share offices, a day shelter, classrooms and a volunteer center will be ready before winter sets in. To push the job along, Share is hoping generous friends will go to the website, sharevancouver.org, to donate funds or to buy a personalized brick paver. Bricks start at $200; larger bricks sell for $1,000, $5,000 or $10,000.
