NEW YORK (AP) — Sally’s Dream won in her debut for a new barn, beating Sheza Heartbreaker by 1 3/4 lengths Wednesday in the $69,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares on the turf at Aqueduct.
Claimed for $16,000 from her previous race by owner-trainer Randi Persaud, Sally’s Dream won for the fourth time in her last five starts. Ridden by Ruben Silvera, the 3-year-old ran 1 1/16 miles in 1:44.48 and paid $17.60, $7.90 and $5.90. Sheza Heartbreaker returned $8.20 and $7, and Hunter Forward paid $5 to show.
