Jets’ Keller, Tebow uncertain vs. Jaguars

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — New York Jets tight end Dustin Keller sat out practice for the second straight day with a sprained left ankle, leaving his status for the team’s game at Jacksonville on Sunday uncertain.

Backup quarterback Tim Tebow was limited for the second straight day with two broken ribs, and might not be ready to go against the Jaguars.

Keller, the Jets’ second-leading receiver with 28 catches, was hurt in New York’s 7-6 win over Arizona last Sunday. The Jets’ receiving corps could be a bit short-handed against the Jaguars if Keller can’t play since wide receiver Clyde Gates is unlikely to play after sustaining a concussion against New England on Thanksgiving night and rookie Stephen Hill was limited Thursday with a knee injury.
