Girls basketball: Washougal 52, Hudson’s Bay 39

Megan Sharp scored 17 points, and Alyssa Blankenship added 14 as Washougal rallied to win a non-league road game.

The Panthers (5-0) used a 20-6 advantage in the third quarter to turn a 27-16 halftime deficit into a 36-33 lead.

Lynnese Harrell had 15 points and 12 rebounds for Bay (0-6), and Paris Collins added 12 points and eight rebounds.

Blankenship added nine rebounds and five steals for Washougal. Megan Townsend had 13 rebounds, three steals and four assists, and Sharp added four steals.
