No. 22 Iowa State women beat Fairfield 60-43

AMES, Iowa (AP) — Hallie Christofferson scored 18 points Sunday and No. 22 Iowa State defeated Fairfield 60-43.

Chelsea Poppens, back after missing three games with a concussion, had 12 points and nine rebounds for the Cyclones (6-1). Brynn Williamson scored 12 points, all on 3-pointers, and Nikki Moody had 10 assists and seven rebounds. Iowa State, which never trailed and led by as many as 24 points, bounced back from a 50-42 loss at Iowa on Thursday.

Katie Cizynski scored 13 points to lead Fairfield (5-3). The Stags shot just 32 percent from the field and were outrebounded 43-27.
