IUPUI beats Indiana-Northwest 65-59

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — John Hart scored 18 points and Lyonell Gaines grabbed a career-high 19 rebounds to help IUPUI hold off Indiana-Northwest 65-59 on Tuesday night.

Ian Chiles added 15 points for the Jaguars (4-8), who ended a four-game losing streak. Gaines, who scored eight points, was one short of the school record for rebounds in a game. Ten of the rebounds came on the offensive boards.

Brandon Grubl and Devin Ellis scored 21 points apiece for the Redhawks (4-11), who led 32-26 at the half. Grubl also had nine rebounds for the NAIA school, which led by as many as nine points early.
