CLEVELAND (AP) — Indians general manager Chris Antonetti is not done trying to improve a team that lost 94 games last season.
Antonetti said Wednesday that a three-team deal with Cincinnati and Arizona that brought outfielder Drew Stubbs and three right-handers to Cleveland makes the Indians better, but is not enough.
The Indians need at least one corner outfielder after dealing right-fielder Shin-Soo Choo to the Reds. While Antonetti believes adding 21-year-old Trevor Bauer from the Diamondbacks will eventually help the rotation, he would like to add another starting pitcher, too.
Antonetti continues to pursue free agents or other trades, but would not discuss names.
