ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — The Detroit Lions have put defensive tackle Corey Williams on injured reserve, ending his season because of an injured right knee.
Detroit signed defensive tackle Andre Fluellen to take Williams’ roster spot.
Williams was inactive for a sixth game Sunday at Green Bay. He started in five of seven games this season and made nine tackles. The nine-year veteran had two sacks in each of the last three seasons with Detroit after playing for Cleveland and Green Bay.
Fluellen cuts by the Lions in August and ended up being in two games with Miami this year. He played in 51 games from the 2008 through the 2011 seasons in Detroit.
Detroit added defensive tackle Jimmy Saddler-McQueen to its practice squad in another roster move.
