LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — John Gillon scored 17 points and Arkansas-Little Rock withstood a second-half rally by Tulsa for a 72-65 victory on Saturday.

Gillon connected on three 3-pointers and grabbed seven rebounds for UALR (8-4). James White scored 12 points and Josh Hagins had 11.

UALR had a comfortable lead through most of the game until Tulsa (6-4) made a charge. A basket by Zeldric King with 3:23 left in the game cut the UALR lead to 62-58, but Tulsa could get no closer.

D’Andre Wright scored 15 points to lead Tulsa, and James Woodard added 12 points to go with 10 rebounds.
