ATLANTA (AP) — Festus Ezeli has a bruised right knee and will miss the Golden State Warriors’ game at the Atlanta Hawks.

Ezeli banged his knee in Friday night’s loss at Orlando. The Warriors initially listed Ezeli as active against the Hawks before announcing minutes before the tipoff he would not play.

Andris Biedrins made his first start of the season in place of Ezeli on Saturday night.

Ezeli, a rookie from Vanderbilt, is averaging 2.9 points and 3.8 rebounds.

The Warriors were once again without center Andrew Bogut, who is recovering from ankle surgery, and guard Brandon Rush, who is out for the year with an injured left knee.
