He’s So Chic shines in Aqueduct feature

NEW YORK (AP) — He’s So Chic won the $64,000 allowance feature at Aqueduct on Sunday, looping the field in the stretch and beating Black Pen by six lengths.

The 8-year-old was in seventh place turning for home before surging down the center of the track for his 14th win in 45 starts. The 6-5 favorite, ridden by Rajiv Maragh and trained by Rudy Rodriguez, was timed for the six furlongs in 1:10.57.

He’s So Chic paid $4.50, $3.20 and $2.50. Black Pen returned $5.90 and $4.10, and Big Blue Nation showed at $3.30.
