Camas resident makes dean’s list

Lisa Nicholson has been named to the annual dean’s list at the University of Washington. To be named to the annual list, a student must earn quarterly dean’s list honors for three of four quarters. Nicholson is from Camas.

Camas library hosting movies

The Camas Public Library is hosting free movies during the holiday break. The shows begin at 2:30 p.m. in the library meeting room, 625 N.E. Fourth Ave. The dates are Wednesday, Dec. 19, Friday, Dec. 21 and Friday, Dec. 28.

Call 834-4692 for more information and movie titles. All movies are rated PG except for Wednesday, which is a PG-13 movie.

Camp Windy Hill offers holiday camp options

Camp Windy Hill is offering a two-day holiday camp for children on Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 19 and 20, and a two-day crafts camp on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 27 and 28 in Washougal. Camps are from 1 to 5 p.m. for ages 5 to 11.

Holiday camp participants will make presents and treats. In the crafts camp, kids will make sock puppets and “softies” (stuffed animals), and decorate a home for them. Camps include hot chocolate and snacks.

The cost is $55 for each two-day camp and includes all materials and snacks.
