BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — The Buffalo Bills have signed starting right guard Kraig Urbik to a four-year contract extension worth $13.3 million.
A person familiar with the contract provided the length and monetary terms, and said the deal includes a $3.5 million signing bonus for this year. The person spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity because the Bills did not disclose terms in announcing the move Tuesday.
Urbik is completing his third year with the Bills, and is now locked up through 2016. He was eligible to become a free agent this offseason after signing a one-year tender in April.
The Bills claimed Urbik off waivers in September 2010 after he was released by Pittsburgh. He has 26 starts at guard and center in 34 games with Buffalo.
