Pickett, Bradley roll past MVSU 77-42

PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Tyshon Pickett scored 18 points and Walt Lemon Jr. added 14 on Wednesday night, helping Bradley roll to a 77-42 victory over Mississippi Valley State.

Pickett also grabbed nine rebounds to help Bradley (8-2) win its third straight.

Bradley shot 50 percent from the floor, while MVSU (0-7) shot just 28 percent, including just 1 of 17 from 3-point range.

MVSU also had 24 turnovers, leading to 25 points for Bradley.

Julius Francis scored 21 points and pulled down nine rebounds for MVSU.

MVSU returns only one of its 11 lettermen that produced a 21-13 record last season.

This game was a second-round game in the Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic. All teams will move on to Las Vegas for games this weekend.
