Clark College report

What to look forward to in Clark College athletics:

MEN’S BASKETBALL

Upcoming games — Clark is at Highline of Des Moines at 3 p.m. Saturday, and then has a huge matchup with second-place Tacoma on Monday, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. in the O’Connell Center. This is the makeup from last month’s game postponed due to ice and snow in the Puget Sound area.

Of note — The latest NWAACC coaches poll was due to be released on Wednesday night at www.nwaacc.org. Clark was No. 2 in the last poll, but No. 1 Bellevue has since lost twice.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Upcoming games — Opponents and dates are same as the men’s squad: at Highline, 1 p.m. Saturday; and a home matchup with Tacoma on Feb. 6 at 5 p.m.

Of note — The Penguins entered Wednesday’s game against winless South Puget Sound with an average margin of victory of 24.3 points in seven NWAACC West Division games.
